Payments
Clinical fee per session is $280 per hour.
Payment by credit or debit card will be processed via the platform Halaxy medical software. The Medicare rebate will be processed at the same time and deposited directly into your nominated back account.
A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required for any cancellations.
Cancellation with less than 24 hours’ notice will require payment of the full fee.​

Most private health insurers offer a rebate for psychological services. Some health funds also require a medical referral. Contact your insurer for further information.
Medicare GP Mental HealthCare Plan

Help with costs
A mental health treatment plan lets you claim up to 10 individual and 10 group
sessions Medicare rebates with an eligible mental health professional each calendar
year (Jan-Dec).
To start with, your doctor or psychiatrist or paediatrician will refer you for up to 6
psychological sessions at a time. If you need more, your doctor will decide if they
can refer you for further sessions. Health professionals set their own fees, so the
Medicare rebate will only cover some of the cost.​​​​
Medicare GP Eating Disorder Care Plan

An EDP allows you to access comprehensive treatment and management services
for a 12-month period, including:

assessment and treatment planning

up to 40 sessions of evidence-based psychological treatment from a mental health professional. This can include individual and/or group sessions.

up to 20 sessions of dietetic services from an Accredited Practicing Dietitian (as recognised by Dietitians Australia)

review and ongoing management services to ensure the person accesses the appropriate level of intervention

Who is eligible for an EDP?
There are two cohorts of eligible patients who can access EDPs:

People with a clinical diagnosis of anorexia nervosa; or
-
People who meet the eligibility criteria and have a clinical diagnosis of bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder (BED) or other specified feeding and eating disorders (OSFED).

Standard Rates
Standard hourly rates apply for consulation during business hours of Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.
Increased hourly rates will apply for consultations outside of the standard business hours (M-F 9am to 5pm)
Family & Group Rates
Rates for consultations for larger or extended families are in most case not subject to additional levies or charges above the Standard Rates. However, additional charges may apply in selected cases and these will be outlined at the time of booking.
Group treatment sessions will be charged at a per-person rate that will be outlined at the time of booking.
Supervision & Training
Fees for the supervision of other Psychologists or Probationary Psychologists are arranged on an individual basis. Supervision sessions are tailored to the individual and can be conducted remotely if required via video chat.
